Mike was born in Nuremberg, Germany while his father was stationed there in the U.S. Army for three years. Mike moved back to the states where he has had several paranormal experiences that have not been explained and leaving him looking for answers. He then joined a group which he was with a little over a year when him, Matt & Christel formed NKYPS.
Kristin McCarthy- Investigator

Kristin has been interested in the paranormal since she was around 9 or so. She began reading books and so forth. She was very interested in the subject at such a young age that everyone thought she was "weird". Her first experience was when she was 10 and she never told anyone about it until she was an adult. She had told her mother her story and come to find out she had a very similar story about the same place she had hers and she had never told anyone else either. She had not had another experience until after she joined a paranormal investigating group.
Liesha Lawson - Investigator

Liesha had her first experience when she was 10 yrs old, Liesha's grandmother used to read cards and it struck her curiosity as to what or who her grandmother was talking to, so Liesha began to seek out answers of her own, Liesha has been a part of NKYPS since it began.

Matt mainly runs the technical side of the group, maintaining and upgrading all the equipment as well as the website upkeep along with Christel. He has been into the paranormal since he was young but only started within the last couple years actually investigating it. He then joined a group which he was with for 6 months when him, Christel & Mike founded NKYPS.

Christel has been interested in the paranormal since the age of 10 when she seen her grandfather that passed away 5 yrs prior, she got involved with alot of different things throughout her teen age years such as having séances , playing around with witchcraft, using ouija boards, etc until she realized thats not what the paranormal is really about. She then begin watching the shows, reading books on the paranormal and decided to try and join a group, she came across a group that was local and joined them where she was an investigator as well as the case manager for a little over year and then decided to start a group of her own, so she Matt & Mike founded NKYPS.

Liam has always had an interest in the paranormal field but it didnt really come to the forefront until his wife, Kristin, joined a paranormal group..then his interest really grew. Right now Liam is in Iraq with the Army National Guard so can not be active in the group at the moment but is still active in his goal of helping people, which is why he is serving our country.
Rick White - Investigator / Tech Asst. Manager/ Asst. Researcher
Rick has been interested in the paranormal for several years. He had been a little bit of a skeptic until recently. He started watching paranormal shows on tv and reading books on the paranormal. He decided he wanted to do some investigating himself, so he went out and bought some equipment and started to do some investigating. From the investigating that he has done and some of the evidence that he found Rick decided to take the next step and join a group where he could learn and share with the other members and to try and find some answers about the paranormal. That is when he found NKYPS.

I have had an interest in the paranormal for a very long time. As a child, I think I was around 10 years old, I had an experience that I never spoke of until very recently. I woke up in the middle of the night one night to find a figure at the foot of my bed. I thought I was dreaming and never said anything to anyone about it. As I grew older and learned of such terms as guardian angles, my thought process lead me to think that the figure at the foot of my bed was a guardian angle. Sometimes I would think about the concept of that figure possibly being a ghost but didn't read too much into it, although the thought was always there. About a year ago, my husband, Rick White expressed an interest in "ghost hunting" and he was very intrigued by all of the television shows that were based around that same concept. As we watched these shows, his interest grew and so did mine, mostly because of my experience as a child. I just never expressed the interest until after he had mentioned it. Since we had a mutual interest we started researching the aspect of actually going on a ghost hunt and becoming a member of a paranormal team. Rick found NKYPS and became a member and as soon as the team had an opening, I was invited to participate and now join the group. So here we are fulfilling our desire to be "ghost hunters" and loving every minute of it.
