Mike was born in Nuremberg, Germany while his father was stationed there in the U.S. Army for three years. Mike moved back to the states where he has had several paranormal experiences that have not been explained and leaving him looking for answers. He then joined a group which he was with a little over a year when him, Matt & Christel formed NKYPS.

Kristin has been interested in the paranormal since she was around 9 or so. She began reading books and so forth. She was very interested in the subject at such a young age that everyone thought she was "weird". Her first experience was when she was 10 and she never told anyone about it until she was an adult. She had told her mother her story and come to find out she had a very similar story about the same place she had hers and she had never told anyone else either. She had not had another experience until after she joined a paranormal investigating group.
Liesha Lawson - Founding member-Investigator

Liesha had her first experience when she was 10 yrs old, Liesha's grandmother used to read cards and it struck her curiosity as to what or who her grandmother was talking to, so Liesha began to seek out answers of her own, Liesha has been a part of NKYPS since it began.

Christel has been interested in the paranormal since the age of 10 when she seen her grandfather that passed away 5 yrs prior, she got involved with alot of different things throughout her teen age years such as having séances , playing around with witchcraft, using ouija boards, etc until she realized thats not what the paranormal is really about. She then begin watching the shows, reading books on the paranormal and decided to try and join a group, she came across a group that was local and joined them where she was an investigator as well as the case manager for a little over year and then decided to start a group of her own, so she Matt & Mike founded NKYPS.

Liam McCarthy - Investigator

Liam has always had an interest in the paranormal field but it didnt really come to the forefront until his wife, Kristin, joined a paranormal group..then his interest really grew. Right now Liam is in Iraq with the Army National Guard so can not be active in the group at the moment but is still active in his goal of helping people, which is why he is serving our country.
Amy Stamper - Investigator / Lead Tech Dept.
Amy was born and Raised in Milford and recently moved to Covington. Amy first got interested in the paranormal at the age of 13 after seeing a ceiling fan kick on by its self along with seeing shadow figures in both the day and night. In 2005 Amy Started work at the USS Nightmare and had several experiences while working there from being pulled to seeing shadows. In 2009 I met NKYPS and later joined the team.

Once she moved into her current home and her entire family began having issues she started the search for someone to help her come up with an explanation for what was going on. She became friends with the second team to come to her house and worked with their group for a few months before finding NKYPS. She now hopes to continue to help others find answers for whats going on with their own “haunts”.

Dave King - Investigator / Tech Dept.
Dave has always been interested in the Paranormal since he was a child, growing up in a very paranormally active home help fuel that interest. He has been actively investigating for 3 years. Helping home owners find evidence and answers to their claims. He is very much a skeptic and likes to rule out any possible causes before claiming a haunt. He is very excited about having the opportunity to be part of the NYKPS family.

She has spent a great deal of time researching haunted locations through the years, long before paranormal investigating gained popularity . She quickly learned, after moving to Northern Kentucky, that there were others that shared the same interest in paranormal research with a common goal of helping those who may be experiencing activity.
