This home was built in 1851 and was the home that Pearl Bryan's body was brought to when it was found headless back in 1896, if you are not familiar with her story, you can read it here or to view the property or the academy, you can find that here , everything in this home is still original and very beautiful, although it is now used as an art academy for children. It also at one time was the private home of Albert "Red" masterson, an infamous Newport Gangster.


Claims

We were called in to investigate this home with the claims of over the yrs, the home owners son seeing a man, the man sitting the boy on the top of a dresser, feeling uneasy, seeing balls of fire then they disappear, other children seeing apparitions, etc. Throughout the night, there wasnt very many experiences, but 2 investigators in the basement did feel a tingling sensation in their hands in 1 spot and an investigators ear ring was taken out of her ear and thrown on the floor. We did capture a couple of Evp's and a picture from the home and there is also a picture from the home owner that is being further investigated to determine if it just over exposure to the film, but it does look to be a bright red streak going across the picture.

Photo - Look in window, looks to be a man sitting on the bed, no one was in this room other then the investigator taking pictures before investigation started and it was a female investigator standing by the door directly in front of the bed, no where near the window, we tried looking around for something that may of created this image but there isnt anything in there.


















































































Conclusion of Investigation

With the evidence we collected, we do believe that the Art Academy does indeed have some activity going on in the home and we will return to conduct another investigation in the near future as requested by the home owners.
